What exactly does The Birthday Wagon do?

The Birthday Wagon organizes birthday parties for children residing in shelters in the Austin, Texas metropolitan area. Each party is held at the shelter, and we play games, eat cake, sing "Happy Birthday" and watch as each child with a birthday that month unwraps their gifts.

How often does The Birthday Wagon put on parties?

We organize one party per month at each of the shelters, and typically have two parties scheduled each month.
